18. Binging On Jordan Peterson’s Podcasts

Quote of the Week:

As a caterpillar, having come to the end of one blade of grass, draws itself together and reaches out for the next, so the Self, having come to the end of one life and dispelled all ignorance, gathers in his faculties and reaches out from the old body to a new.

-The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

I have been a fan of Jordan Peterson’s for a while and listen to him in guest spots whenever possible. However, I finally took the time to dive into his podcast and wanted to share my thoughts on his ideas and the impact they have.

  • The 20th century and how his analysis is not purely political
  • Ancient myths and the Bible
  • Order and Chaos
  • The synergy between philosophy, empiricism, and religion
