After high school comes a fork in the road. Today we will cover one of those which is the college route.
“Financial freedom is available to those who learn about it and work for it.”
– Robert Kiyosaki
Recap
Many of the principles that we talked about last week don’t change, but the way that they are implemented and how you go about them doesn’t change.
The goal still will be to earn money, save money, build credit, and avoid debt.
How to make financial progress in college
- Earn more money- by working more hours or somewhere you can get raises
- Save more money- because you’re earning more (duh)
- Avoid debt- to the extent you can and make sure the debt you take on is justifiable
- Build credit- start paying your bills ON TIME
